A pocket development in QC

Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is developing a pocket urban development, its second in Metro Manila, that is seen to significantly impact a densely populated area in Quezon City.

The Junction Place is an 11-hectare district between Quirino Highway and Tandang Sora avenue. in Barangay Talipapa, Novaliches, one of the city’s busiest trade areas with a mix of homes, schools, markets, retail, and hospitals. About 15 percent of the city’s 400,000 population either live or work there.

One of the highlights of the project is the construction of a four-lane 1.2-kilometer road between Quirino highway and Tandang Sora avenue that will ease some of the urban congestion in the area providing an alternative access for motorists and cut travel time between the two roads.

With the main spine road, Junction Place boulevard, a new commercial corridor will open up new opportunities for enterprises.

Junction Place will benefit from the upcoming Metro Manila Subway, with two stations to be constructed within 800 meters.

“We’re creating a comfortable and refreshing new neighborhood that will connect people to other hubs in Quezon City and beyond. At the same time, The Junction Place will be a refreshing area for shopping and dining, and affordable products and services will be available for everyday needs. It will also provide a great platform for homegrown, small and medium enterprises with its urban location,” said Stephen Comia, ALI estate head.

The Junction Place will have its own transport hub to link Novaliches to other key hubs across Quezon City and Manila.

The Junction Place will feature residential, commercial and recreational elements that fit the needs of the nearby communities.

The estate will be anchored by an Amaia Land residential. Development and WalterMart for retail.

The Junction Place’s community center integrates retail, dining, and service options with activity nodes for community fairs and events.

With a close eye on sustainability, ALI will construct the development with tree-lined roads, energy efficient street lighting, walkable connections between the residential to the commercial spaces, and ample convergence spaces.

The commercial area offers bite-size spaces, averaging 1,200 sq.m. lots, where buyers can put up their own office buildings, event venues, car showrooms or service centers.
